SERVE TEAM VISION

The vision of our Serve Team Ministry here at The Well Church is to provide opportunities where people can make a difference.

SERVE TEAM OPPORTUNITIES

  • Baptism Team. The purpose of this team is to provide a meaningful experience for people going public with their faith through baptism. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: prepare materials needed for the event and assist those being baptized. 

  • Connection Table Team. The purpose of this team is create a helpful environment for people who attend a weekend service or special event. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Prepare and manage Connection Table for weekend services and special events. Assist individuals with connection cards and Next Steps.

  • Greeting Team: The purpose of this team is to create a warm and welcoming environment for the people who will be attending weekend services or special events. The responsibilities include the following: greeting guests and regular attenders as they enter the worship center.

  • Hospitality Team: The purpose of this team is create a welcoming and helpful environment for those attending weekend services or special events by serving quality refreshments and personal assistance. The responsibilities of this team are as follows: Prepare refreshment area weekly. Manage inventory. Keep area clean and organized. 

  • Kids Team: The purpose of this team is to create a fun learning experience for children during the worship service. The responsibilities of this team are as follows: Prepare spiritually and mentally for the times you serve and lead. Ensure every child is checked in and that every child only leaves with the parent / guardian that checked them in. Leave kids area clean. Assist with kids events throughout the calendar year.

  • Parking Team: The purpose of this team is to create a great first impression by providing a safe, easy, and organized parking experience. The responsibilities of this team are as follows: welcome guests and regular attenders with a wave and smile when they enter the parking area. Assist people to appropriate parking areas. Help with security. 

  • Prayer Team: The purpose of this team is provide meaningful and helpful spiritual assistance through prayer. The responsibilities of this team are as follows: Pray over the worship center before the service begins. Pray with people who come to the altar during commitment time. Serve as prayer support for ongoing needs within the church. 

  • Production Team. The purpose of this team is to create a meaningful and stimulating audio and visual experience for weekend services and special events. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Operating Sound for Worship rehearsals and services. Operating lyrics for worship team and teaching material for pastor. Operating house and stage lighting for services. Operating video streaming and cameras. 

  • Security Team: The purpose of this team is to create a safe environment for worship services and special events. The responsibilities of this team are as follows: Monitor inside and outside facilities during worship or special services. Ensure that all access points are secure while people are in the building. Remain 30 minutes after the conclusion of service for continued monitoring and security. 

  • Usher Team: The purpose of this team is to create a comfortable environment for guests by welcoming them and offering assistance before, during, and after the service. The responsibilities of this team are as follows: Greet guest and regular attenders. Help attendees find seats. Assist young families with children to Kids Worship Check In. Collect offering. Counting the number of people in assigned sections.
